Keeping in view the ongoing controversy relating to arrest of some students of JNU on the charges of ‘sedition’ and recent violence in Patiala House Courts where students, teachers and journalists were attacked, including the accused student by a group of lawyers, and in a situation where large number of citizens are being labeled as ‘anti-national’ for holding a particular view which is not liked by another particular group, PUDR, Janhastakshep and PUCL (Delhi) have decided to hold the above public meeting to thoroughly discuss the contentious issues.
