A senior officer, attached to anti-Naxal operation, said the manual’s content regarding women were also created in such a fashion so as to bring in ‘hate’ feelings towards the male as a perpetual body for exploitation and suppression of the women in a gender biased society.
The leadership training manual, in other sections, also had diagrammatic representations in local language like Gondi and Madia of how to set up improvised explosive devises (IED) with simple wirings and battery set-up. It also had representations of wireless set up and means of communication with coded language and terms and terminologies.
